Blue Sky Blues: Mississippi Blacksnakes (Bo Carter and Charlie McCoy)

Another Charlie McCoy blues mandolin tune, this time recorded with Bo Carter. I really like this tune. Much like the other “hokum” vocal tunes that McCoy plays mandolin on, his playing stays close to the melody. The head again starts from the V chord and follows the melody, though there is an incredibly cool turnaround in this tune.
