Grateful Dead: Slipknot

Many moons ago, I aspired to be a Dead-head, in my tie-dyes, long hair, and malodorous hippie glory.   Blues for Allah, along w/ Terrapin Station and Workingman’s Dead, will be among some of my favorite albums for a long time.

Slipknot from Blues for Allah is a connector piece between Help on the Way and Franklin’s Tower.   I’ve not gone through the whole tune.  It’s mainly the intro which I play here, jam space, and a return to some of the motifs of the intro (the diminished runs and then the minor 7 triad walkdown leading into Franklin’s Tower).
