Today’s mandolin blues lick lesson continues to focus on the Key of E. This lick really is focused around the Major E triad of E-G#-B. It plays the chromatic notes in between that link those notes of the triad. This lick works well in a shuffle, swing, or even a boogie. I show three positions to play it with the final one being in a closed position, for moving anywhere on the fretboard.
